Demon Analyse - Effective and flexible digital video analysis

A new software application for analysing AfterBurner DVDs has been launched following the collaboration between Ovation Systems and Scyron Ltd

DEMON analyse (formerly Video Inspector) is a world leader in intelligent video analysis and optimised for use with AfterBurner time-lapse DVD recorder.

DEMON analyse has been developed by Scryon in collaboration with Ovation Systems and provides rapid analysis of footage. Users are able to set detection parameters for suspicious incidents such as an event or activity occurring in a specific place on screen. This dramatically reduces the man hours spent manually analysing the video footage.

Key information such as object size and position is stored in a searchable database linked to a video file.

Demon analyse finds the
pre-defined events of interests and presents them on a timeline. You can change the search criteria and the system will instantaneously update the timeline with the new events of interest, without having to
reanalyse the video footage. It allows you to selectively navigate through footage so events of interest are easily located and viewed.

The system automatically compensates for varying frame rates and allows for faster than
real-time analysis. Variable speed playback, forward and rewind facilities provide for ease of operation. Not only does this reduce costs, it increases the accuracy of the video analysis.
