FlashBack-2 USB: Embedded CF Card DVR

 

FlashBack-2 USB records to an internal compact flash card, which cannot be easily removed. It is designed to satisfy evidential procedures where the first download is considered the master copy.

As the card is embedded within the unit, FlashBack-2 USB is mechanically very robust and, with no moving parts, is able to withstand extreme shock and vibration.

FlashBack-2 USB offers the same benefits as FlashBack-2 but with direct access to the CF card via the USB Port. See Figure 1

Once connected, the PC will automatically detect there is a new device connected to the USB Port and show it as a removable disk. See Figure 2 below.

FlashBack-2 USB Playback

 

The video may be played back by simply double-clicking the file shown in the Removable Drive Window or it may be transferred to a PC's hard drive in the usual way

 

 

Removing the Internal Disk

If required, it is possible to remove and replace the internal Compact Flash Card (Disk) by removing the two front panel screws. The card is then ejected by pressing the eject button show below in Figure 4.
