New DVD-Explorer Upgrade Software

Ovation Systems in partnership with Scyron have announced a new AfterBurner optimised DVD software player with the capability of upgrade to full video analysis. The new player has very similar features and functions to DVD Explorer along with the advantage compatibly with Windows 2000, XP and for the first time Windows Vista. Its simple interface and ability to time-accurately search forwards and backward at any speed (including single step) allows for the easy review of AfterBurner DVDs. Once a frame of interest has been found, it can exported as a high quality JPEG with just couple of mouse clicks.

The player also includes a full demonstration of Scyron's DEMON analyse (formally Video Inspector). Designed for use with AfterBurner, DEMON analyse can dramatically cut review times by allowing the user to quickly see all the events of interest based on selection criteria such as object size, position, speed, direction etc. For example, with DEMON analyse, you can see each and every time someone walks through a doorway, whilst ignoring anyone who walks past it. Events can then be exported as short AVI video clips.
