Leading motorsports production company Greenlight Television uses the FlashBack-2 digital video recorder to bring spectacular viewing and sensation of speed during the Isle of Man TT race. The digital video recorder needed to be as light and compact as possible as well as being able to cope with the harsh environment of a racing bike travelling along public roads at speeds of up to 206mph. The video quality of the FlashBack-2 was also a very important element when selecting this product, as footage would be used on television programmes distributed around the world. The other benefit Greenlight realised was that there was no need for conversion. Being MPEG-2 compliant it allowed them to download and edit the footage ready for broadcasting.
