Obscura-2 is a low-cost video scrambling system designed to protect wireless video surveillance transmissions from casual interception. |
|
Each Obscura-2 video scrambling unit includes two scrambling keys. An internal group key, allocated in the factory, and a second user key that is set by four hex switches on the side of the unit. Only if both the encoder and decoder group and user keys match will the system be able to de-scramble the transmission.
The Obscura-2 video scrambling system is ideal for safeguarding wireless video security links from reception by scanners and other microwave video receivers.
