FlashBack-2 DVR on board Isle of Man TT Race motor bike
Skip to Navigation

FlashBack-2 travels at over 200 mph at the Isle of Man TT race.

Leading motorsports production company Greenlight Television used the FlashBack-2 digital video recorder to bring spectacular viewing and sensation of speed during the Isle of Man TT race. The digital video recorder (DVR) needed to be light and compact as well as being able to cope with the harsh environment of a racing bike travelling along public roads at speeds over 200 mph. The video quality of the FlashBack-2 was also a very important element when selecting this product, as footage was intended for use for television broadcast and distributed around the world.

The other major benefit for Greenlight was that FlashBack-2 is fully MPEG-2 compliant, allowing the footage to be easily downloaded and edited ready for broadcasting.
