Ovation Systems Ltd specialise in the design and manufacture of rugged, high performance video surveillance products for the police, military and other government law enforcement agencies.  Over the past 30 years the company has gained an excellent reputation in the law enforcement market and has won a number of awards for the development of specialist video surveillance products.  In April 2008, the company was awarded The Queen’s Award for Innovation and The Queen's Award for International Trade 2009. 

With a such a demanding customer base as the police and military, we are dedicated to ensuring the highest possible product quality and reliability and our production and design processes are certificated to ISO 9001 Quality Management standards

All PCBs are built to the highest standards and most products are housed in rugged, hard-anodized milled aluminum enclosures. Even before entering production, all systems are thoroughly qualified for performance over extended temperature ranges in our environmental test chambers.

Who are we?

Based near Oxford, Ovation Systems is a privately owned company that started business in 1987 as an electronic design consultancy, concentrating on high-speed digital electronic design projects.

In 1990, the company changed direction and started developing its own product range. Since then, Ovation Systems has grown into a highly successful and profitable electronic design and manufacturing organisation, specialising in advanced video surveillance products and systems for high-end CCTV, police and military applications.

Our aim is simple: to produce products that impress our customers!

We are currently a team of 24 people and keep a small company atmosphere. The company promotes employee involvement and communication by actively encouraging employees to contribute ideas and suggestions. The flow of communication works well at Ovation because all staff, including Directors are accommodated in an open-plan office at a single site. We are in a pleasant rural location in the green belt just outside Oxford, with London just an hour away.

As a company we aim to keep up with the continual advances in technologies for the media and communications industries, and apply these to innovative products for the security and surveillance industry.
